the new Goodspeed location in scottsdale

The new location is superb, and the layout of the new building is far superior to our old one! while we will be soft open tomorrow (Monday), things take time to make them just the way we want them so we will be working through some of the finishing construction. So much has been transformed  inside the new facility its hardly recognizable from even a month ago. I would like to thank all of our customers that have already stopped by for there support and a special thanks to Mike at Caliber Signs for getting our sign up safe and sound, as well as Tempe crane for landing our 50,000cfm fans up top.

AWE 2010 A5 2.0 FMIC install and review.

Permalink 01/24/10 23:40, by jon, Categories: New Products, Forced Induction , Tags: a5, intercooler, tuning

OK so due to the move up to our new Scottsdale location, we haven't had much time to keep up with letting everyone know about cool stuff that we have been up to, so there is some catching up to do like the AWE FMIC fitting on the new A5. The project was to see if AWE's A4 Fmic would work on the new A5 with the front structure being so similar, so we got together a couple of months ago with AWE and had them send us one, (for experimental purposes). The result was outstanding! The already proven inter-cooler fit perfectly and was as always first quality. The ability of this cooler is far beyond the cars stock turbo and paves the way for the addition of a big turbo. By the time this blog is our i do believe that it will be readily available as a AWE approved Product for the A5.AWE A5http://www.goodspeedperformance.com/Content/gallery/audi-A5-fmic-front-mount-intercooler.jpgA5-intercooler

The APS 525 FMIC for Subaru is available again from Goodspeed!

Permalink 01/06/10 09:27, by GoodSpeed, Categories: Announcements

The legendary APS 525 front mount intercooler has quickly become the benchmark for all front mount intercooler systems for the Impreza WRX and they are availble once again from Goodspeed Performance. APS inventory has become almost non-existent in the US these past few months due to a decison from APS to drastically decrease the amount of products they were exporting to the US market. Goodpseed has hit paydirt and has come across a pretty substantial supply of some of the hard to find APS products so we just wanted to let all of our Subaru customers in on the news. In addition to the 525 FMIC which is available in silver and black to accent your car, we also have many other APS parts available. If there are any wants or needs please don't hesitate...call us now! Supply on these parts may not last long due to the demand.

To Infiniti and beyond !

Permalink 12/18/09 15:50, by GoodSpeed, Categories: Announcements

Hey guys, we're back with yet another heavily modded street machine, but this one comes from the other side. We post numerous pics of European cars such as Mercedes Benz and BMW but other than our many Subaru followers, we rarely show many other makes and models. When a local customer brought his 2005 Infiniti G35 to Goodspeed Performance and wanted to build something a little different, we happily obliged. After meeting with Jon and mowing over some ideas, they settled on giving this already speedy car a little added breath of air via forced induction from Vortech Supercharger Systems. That was just the beginning of a long and happy relationship with yet another new Goodspeed customer. Read below to see a list of modifications done to this G35 which not only resulted in an asphalt shredding 420hp but also just an overall gorgeous vehicle.

2005 Infiniti G35 Auto

  • Vortech Supercharger
  • Goodspeed Performance custom intake
  • Walbro fuel pump
  • 440cc injectors
  • 4.08 Ring & Pinion
  • Quaife limited slip differential
  • Performance valve body
  • Pro EFI custom tune
  • Eibach Pro alignment kit
  • 20" Axis Shine w/ Toyo tires
  • AEM gauges with pillar pod
  • carbon fiber front lip spoiler

Future mods include tires that stick and a Cosworth Intake Plenum.....for now

Goodspeed's first Audi A5 2.0T build

Permalink 12/18/09 14:46, by GoodSpeed, Categories: Announcements

Goodspeed Performance finally met the right guy who wants the baddest A5 on the block. This customer found us through the community and is now going to become the first A5 owner to enlist Goodspeed Performance as his only outlet for building his project A5. This 2.0T version of this car is still relatively new when it comes to performance modifications, but you know if anybody is gonna make it right...Goodspeed will. The customer originally inquired about having us install a rear sway bar from Stasis Engineering and the list grew from there. Goodspeed designed and installed a full 3 inch stainless steel turbo back exhaust system, H&R lowering springs, Stasis rear ARB, and through some minor design work...an oversized intercooler for much lower intake temperatures. The future holds many other mods for this car including a 19 inch tire & wheel package, cold air intake, an APR software flash, and a big turbo upgrade. We'll keep you updated as to the progress of this A5 as new modifications become available. Here's a few pics of it's current state.
